PACCF Online Cultural Program: Explorers Camp

The Polish American Congress Charitable Foundation is sponsoring an Online Cultural Program for American teenagers, ages 13-17, in cooperation with the School of Polish Language and Culture at Jagiellonian University.

  1. Participation is open to a number of fraternal organizations including Polish Falcons of America. PFA Membership will be verified prior to your acceptance.
  2. Participants will be selected on a first come first served basis, with preference being given to students who have not previously participated in a PACCF sponsored Youth Trip. Enrollment is limited to 100 participants.
  3. Even though this is an online Program, a valid U.S. Passport or Permanent Resident Card is required, due to School regulations. Please include a photocopy with your application packet. If you do not have a passport, please include a photocopy of one of the following: driver’s license, student ID card or birth certificate.

The program will include 30 hours of Polish language (with a placement test administered to determine the students’ knowledge of Polish with classes structured accordingly), 20 hours of virtual sightseeing tours, cooking classes, Polish holiday traditions, song and dance, games and online quizzes.

The cost for the online program is $350 per person. The PACCF will cover $200 of the cost. The Polish Falcons will cover half of the remaining $150 for the first 15 registrations that are received. That amount being $75. Participants will cover the remaining $75. If there are more than 15 registrations, those participants will be required to cover the entire $150 cost on their own.
